Weavers Waterfowl offers quality fully guided waterfowl field hunting in Northwest Mississippi in the upper part of the Mississippi Delta which averages 700K migrating ducks and countless geese during the fall waterfowl season. Here you will find some of the best greater white-fronted (specklebelly) goose hunting and duck hunting in the Mid-South. The fully guided duck hunt takes place in an easily accessible large, heated, dry pit blinds surrounded by flooded rice with over 750+ decoy spreads. We utilize motion and mechanical decoys along with well trained retrievers.
What to Bring and Expect - Fully Guided
The typical fall waterfowl season in Mississippi begins the Friday after Thanksgiving and lasts thru January 31st with splits after the first two weekends. We ask hunters to bring two (2) boxes of non-toxic shotgun shells for each day’s hunt, shotgun, knee-high boots and warm, waterproof clothing. Mississippi requires hunters sixteen years old and older to obtain a small game hunting license (7 day or full year), HIP certification and a state and federal waterfowl stamp.
